About

History

Hub City Fastpitch started as a small organization with its roots as the Dirteaters in 2023. In this year, we had one 14U competitive fastpitch softball team comprised of 9 young women from Aberdeen. This team participated in league play and one tournament with much growth from a combination of practices and competitive play. The following year, 2024, more young women expressed interest in competitive fastpitch softball. Because of the need, a group of us decided to create a non-profit fastpitch softball organization, called Hub City Fastpitch, framed around building well-rounded individuals and athletes in fastpitch softball. Now, we have four teams participating in league play, practices, and competitive tournament play. Our hope is to continue to grow interest in the sport, while nurturing positive physical and mental growth.

Board

As part of the non-profit 501(c)3 status, we established a board to oversee operations. Board members are individuals dedicated to the sport of softball that are volunteering their time to the growth of female athletes. Board members include a President, Treasurer, Secretary, and two Members-at-Large.
